System and Network Administrator

Job Responsibilities:

• Participating in the technical design and planning of new or restructured IT infrastructure;
• Selection, installation, and initial configuration of server and network equipment (HPE, Lenovo, Cisco, etc.);
• Deployment, management, and optimization of Windows Server operating systems;
• Administration of core services such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy;
• Creation and management of virtualization environments (VMware ESXi, Microsoft Hyper-V);
• Deployment and support of high availability (HA) server systems;
• Designing network infrastructure, configuring VLANs, and performing diagnostics;
• Writing and monitoring security policies for firewall systems (Fortigate, Cisco ASA);
• Establishing and managing VPN connections (site-to-site and remote access);
• Implementing IT security principles, and managing antivirus, patching, and logging systems;
• Developing and executing backup and disaster recovery plans (Veeam, Acronis, etc.);
• Providing daily technical support for system and network infrastructure;
• Researching new technologies, providing technical proposals to management, and preparing relevant reports.

Requirements:

• Higher education in IT, Computer Engineering, or a related field;
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience;
• Fluency in Azerbaijani; technical proficiency in English (minimum);
• In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Windows Server (2016/2019/2022);
• Experience in deploying and managing AD, Group Policy, DNS, File Server, DFS, Terminal Services (RDS), and WSUS;
• Proficiency in virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware, etc.);
• Experience working with Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft 365 platforms;
• Ability to manage High Availability (HA) and Fault Tolerance (FT) systems;
• Setup and management of IT equipment such as servers, printers, and IP phones;
• Basic knowledge and experience with HPE and Dell servers and storage systems;
• Practical experience with Cisco and Fortinet devices (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.);
• Hands-on knowledge of setting up and managing Next Generation Firewall systems and writing rules;
• Practical understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, NAT, routing);
• Understanding of the ISO-OSI model, network architecture, and principles and standards of information security;
• Experience with monitoring and logging systems such as Zabbix;
• Familiarity with access control, antivirus, patch management, and log systems.
