Production Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the planning, organization, and management of production processes;
• Prepare production plans and work schedules for orders and monitor the timely execution of tasks;
• Ensure that metal structures are manufactured in accordance with technical drawings, project requirements, and quality standards;
• Oversee the efficient organization of laser cutting, bending, welding, and other metalworking processes;
• Ensure the efficient use of production equipment, raw materials, and other resources;
• Coordinate the activities of production employees, allocate tasks, and monitor their execution;
• Organize the installation of manufactured metal structures at clients’ sites and ensure the timely completion of the process;
• Monitor quality and ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements throughout the production process;
• Monitor production costs and material consumption, and take measures to reduce waste and increase productivity;
• Monitor the technical condition of equipment and organize timely maintenance;
• Resolve production-related issues promptly and minimize disruptions to workflow;
• Regularly report to management on production progress, order fulfillment status, and results.

Requirements

• Higher technical education (in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Manufacturing, Civil Engineering, or a related field);
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in metalworking or metal structure manufacturing;
• Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a leadership role within production;
• Practical knowledge of metal structure fabrication, welding, cutting, bending, and installation technologies;
• Knowledge of the operating principles of laser cutting machines, press brakes, and CNC equipment;
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and production documentation;
• Ability to plan production processes, manage personnel, and allocate resources;
• Knowledge of production quality control and occupational health and safety requirements;
• Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD;
• Ability to analyze production costs, material consumption, and productivity indicators;
• Analytical thinking, organizational, leadership, and team management skills;
• Strong sense of responsibility, sound decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions

• Work Location: Lokbatan, Baku;
• Work Schedule: 6-day workweek;
• Salary: Negotiable based on the candidate’s experience and professional skills.
