Lawyer

Job responsibilities

• Providing legal advice to local and international clients on corporate, banking and finance matters in accordance with Azerbaijani legislation;
• Conducting negotiations and coordination with banks, debt funds and corporate borrowers;
• Carrying out risk assessments;
• Managing multi-jurisdictional transaction processes;
• Advising and supporting clients on banking law matters and financial transactions;
• Close cooperation with Corporate/M&A, Infrastructure/Projects and Real Estate teams;
• Direct communication with clients and presentation of practical and well-substantiated legal recommendations.

Requirements

• Fully qualified lawyer under Azerbaijani law; candidates at the beginning of their career or with 1–3 years of work experience in Corporate, Banking and Finance;
• Strong commercial mindset and interest in complex financing structures;
• Excellent knowledge of Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage (e.g. German);
• Strong analytical skills, precise legal drafting abilities and a results-oriented approach;
• Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills and a high sense of responsibility in an international environment;
• Advantage: international experience, work experience or internship in the banking or finance sector.
