Finance Director

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the preparation and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Oversee the preparation of profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Prepare and analyze profitability reports for construction projects, business areas, and production units.
• Compare planned and actual financial performance indicators and identify the reasons for deviations.
• Prepare financial analyses, management reports, and relevant analytical information for company management.
• Ensure the proper classification of operating expenses and capital investments.
• Identify direct and indirect costs and oversee their allocation to relevant projects, products, and cost centers.
• Verify compliance of expenses with approved budgets and analyze deviations.
• Ensure that materials, payroll, equipment, subcontracting, and other costs are accurately reflected in cost calculations.
• Compare planned and actual cost indicators and investigate the reasons for discrepancies.
• Calculate and analyze profitability indicators for projects and products.
• Organize the preparation of annual company budgets and financial budgets for individual projects.
• Forecast cash flows and oversee cash flow management.
• Identify and assess financial risks and develop measures to mitigate them.
• Provide recommendations for improving financial processes and strengthening internal control mechanisms.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accurate and timely collection of financial information.
• Participate in projects and initiatives aimed at improving the company's financial performance.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Relevant work experience in financial management, budgeting, financial analysis, and management reporting.
• Experience in the construction and/or manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Knowledge of the preparation and analysis of profit and loss statements, cash flow statements, and balance sheets.
• Practical knowledge of cost accounting, cost allocation, and cost calculation.
• Skills in budget planning, financial forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting software.
• Analytical thinking, a systematic approach, and decision-making skills.
• A high level of responsibility, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work in a team.
