Artificial Intelligence (AI), sometimes also referred to as “AI” in academic articles, is increasingly becoming an integral part of business processes. Applied in many sectors of the economy and continuing to expand, AI cannot completely replace people and their work; rather, it can provide support. This is because AI imitates human intelligence to analyze and process large volumes of data, identify patterns, and present them in a way that meets our needs. Sometimes, we hear or see people expressing concern that AI will take away our jobs :). However, the reality is quite different. AI primarily serves as a tool to help us automate processes and optimize our work. Just as the Industrial Revolution took place years ago, leading to the production of large-scale technological equipment and the invention of the Internet and Wi-Fi, the development of AI is also driven by the demands of time and technological progress. It is important to remember that AI cannot replace humans in areas that require improvisation, empathy, and responsibility, as well as the ability to make decisions based on the specific situation. We should simply try to view AI not as a tool that replaces human labour, but as a means of complementing it. It is also important to keep in mind that information security and cybersecurity rules must be followed when using AI tools. People currently facing a system that completely surpasses human intelligence such as an Superintelligence (SI). Therefore, it is necessary to provide appropriate prompts and use query tools effectively.

One of the main objectives of the “Artificial Intelligence Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025–2028,” approved by an Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, is to develop the artificial intelligence industry in the in the country’s priority sectors, including the preparation of a qualified workforce with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in this field. Therefore, I believe that everyone should improve their knowledge and skills in the relevant fields and strive to make effective use of the opportunities offered by AI.
